What you get
- Every model we list for each provider you have a key for, with no limit from us.
- Voice, with an OpenAI key.
On BYOK only your own keys are used. The Free plan's models show only if you have a key for their provider.
Where your messages go
Your browser sends each message straight to the provider, and our server never sees it.
Where your keys are kept
In your browser. A key is sent only to its own provider, and never stored on our servers. If you turn on encrypted Drive sync, your keys are copied to your own Google Drive, encrypted; you can keep them on this device alone in the sync settings.
Who bills you
Your provider, for what you use, at its own prices. We charge nothing for the BYOK plan.
Getting started
- Get an API key from a provider. Each one in Settings → API Keys has a "Get key here" link.
- Turn on the BYOK plan there, and paste your key.
You can go back to the Free plan at any time, from the same page.
