These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Polymeti web application (“Polymeti”, “the Service”) operated by Polymeti. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What Polymeti is
Polymeti is an interface that lets you chat with, compare, and combine multiple third-party AI models in one place. You use your own API keys (“bring your own key”) to access those models, or a key we assign to you if you are an invited user.
2. Service availability and your data
The Service may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time, and may contain errors or behave unexpectedly. We make no guarantee of availability, uninterrupted operation, or retention of your data. Because your conversations are stored in your own browser, they can be lost — for example if you clear your browser storage or after an app update. Please do not rely on the Service for important or critical data, and export anything you want to keep. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service.
4. Your account
You sign in using a Google account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.
5. Your API keys and provider charges
When you bring your own API key, you are responsible for it and for all usage and charges billed by the relevant AI provider. Your requests go directly from your browser to the provider you choose; we do not control, and are not responsible for, the providers’ pricing, billing, availability, or enforcement of their own terms. You must comply with the terms of every provider whose models you use.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
- generate content that infringes others’ rights or that any provider’s policies prohibit;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- resell or misrepresent the Service.
7. AI output — no warranty
AI models can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or offensive output. Output is generated by third-party models, not by us, and should not be relied upon as professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
8. Your content
You retain ownership of the prompts and content you submit. Your conversations are stored locally in your browser, not on our servers (see our Privacy Policy). Rights in AI-generated output are governed by the terms of the provider that produced it.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polymeti will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or provider charges, arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
